The HP4200 is one of HP's best MJF options. HP is the global leader in MJF currently, and a trailblazer for this innovative technology. MJF 3D Printing is a new technology that is not only revolutionizing the industry, but disrupting the foundations on which additive manufacturing was built.

1. MJF is extremely versatile

With the ability to use multiple blends of proprietary HP PA11 and PA12, such as glass-bead PA12, MJF technologies are able to accomplish a wide-array of different 3D printing tasks. PA12 and PA11 are perfect for industrial applications. PA12 is extremely light, with excellent strength to weight ratio, making it an ideal choice for the aeronautical, and automotive industries.

2. Large output

HP's line of MJF printers have very high print outputs. This allows for printing large numbers of parts extremely fast, lowering prototype lead-times. The build speed is 4115 cm3 per hour, leaving conventional printers in the dust, and the large build size of 380mm x 284mm x 380mm allows for printing large batches of parts.

3. No need for supports!

MJF does not struggle with overhangs. No support is required, and parts can be printed on-top of each other for maximum efficiency. This allows for the printing of complex forms in single pieces.

4. Incredible quality

The quality of MJF parts combines the pros of SLA and FDM. The accuracy rivals even the best SLA printers, and the surface quality is second too none, while the ease of use and price per piece is similar to a high-end FDM device.
