High strength filament- 3D printer questions and 3D printing services.
For most customers, our best high strength option is PETG. PETG is easier to print than ABS, nylon, or carbon fibre blends. It also is very heat resistant, only starting to deform at around 80 degrees celsius. ABS is similar in strength to PETG, but it is more difficult to print, and thus, more costly. If you want ABS filament, consider that unless you want acetone smoothing or heat resistance of up to 100 degrees celsius,, PETG is the better option. However, we also offer specialty Zortrax filaments that offer extreme strength, such as nylon, and polycarbonate.
3D printer questions- size:
Our biggest printers in our 3D printing service can print objects that are 300 x 300 x 400 mm in size (xyz). However, if you follow our instagram page, you will see that we have successfully made objects significantly bigger than this. 3D printed parts can easily be glued, or melted together using a solvent such as acetone for ABS. Furthermore, for large sculptures where appearance is important, the join seams can be filled in with wood filler, making an object that has dozens of pieces appear as if it is only made of one 3D printed part..

3D printer questions - Cancelations
Unfortunately, once an order for our 3d printing service has been placed and confirmed, you are responsible for the payment. This is especially true for orders that required rare blends of filament that we do not keep in stock. In unique cases, we will allow for an order to be cancelled with a inventory fee, meaning that the expenditures we made on behalf of the client will be the only bill.
